I absolutely loved, The Silent Patient, and when I heard that Michaelides had another book coming out called The Maidens coming out I was immediately intrigued. Not to mention the stunning cover, which gave me The Secret History vibes! This dark academia book was everything that I hoped and more. Granted I figured out early on one of the major plot points. Yet I’m still processing one of the major twist in the story. There’s even a part of my mind that says we are being lied to.

While this book isn’t a sequel to, The Silent Patient, it does exist in the same universe and Theo even makes a brief appearance.

Also… This was my first ARC, hehe.
